Vitagrow-M
The orchid tonic with trace mineral elements.
This formula adds the trace mineral elements Manganese, Zinc, Copper, Boron and Molybdenum to the growth stimulants Vitamin B1 and a-Naphthalene-acetic acid. The minerals are particularly useful for promoting the efficient use of regular fertilizers. Vitagrow-M is not a fertilizer, but assists proper absorption of fertilizers and other nutrients necessary for healthy plant growth. In addition to adding this supplement, serious orchid growers should have a water analysis for mineral content and pH completed. If minerals are lacking, trace elements should be added. pH should be adjusted to about 6.5 (See american Orchid Society Bulletin, August 1982 p 836).
General application:
To promote (non-orchid) seed germination, root growth,
establishment of imported plants, add 4mL per 4.5 litres of water and soak
plant materials briefly before planting. To prevent transplant shock, stimulate
growth, improve efficiency of fertilizers and build strong plants, add
12mL per 4.5 litres of water. Soak compost weekly and when plants are establiushed
use monthly. A teaspoon of honey or sugar per 4.5 litres of water may also
be added to provide ready nourishment for plants in transition.
Note: Shake well before using. Keep away from eyes, pets
